HUBUNGAN ANTARA HIPERTENSI DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PENDUDUK DI KELURAHAN KOLONGAN KECAMATAN TOMOHON TENGAH KOTA TOMOHON

Abstract

Kualitas hidup merupakan penilaian subjektif individu mengenai posisi kehidupannya saat ini pada beberapa aspek kehidupan yaitu kemampuan berjalan, perawatan diri, kegiatan yang biasa dilakukan, rasa nyeri/tidak nyaman dan rasa cemas/depresi. Penelitian sebelumnya mendapatkan hasil bahwa individu yang sedang hipertensi mempunyai kualitas hidup cenderung lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan individu yang tidak mengalami hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara hipertensi dengan kualitas hidup pada penduduk di Kelurahan Kolongan Kecamatan Tomohon Tengah Kota Tomohon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey analitik dengan desain studi potong lintang yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Juni 2017. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah penduduk dewasa yang berusia ≥ 17 tahun di Kelurahan Kolongan Kecamatan Tomohon Tengah Kota Tomohon. Sampel diambil secara multistage random sampling dengan jumlah 96 responden. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner EQ-5D dan alat pengukur tekanan darah tensimeter. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi square untuk menganalisis hubungan antar variabel dengan α = 0,05. Uji statistik yang dilakukan memperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan antara hipertensi dengan kualitas hidup (p= 0,014). Terdapat hubungan antara hipertensi dengan kualitas hidup pada penduduk di Kelurahan Kolongan Kecamatan Tomohon Tengah Kota Tomohon.

ABSTRACT
The quality of life is individual subjective assessment about the position of the currently life on some aspect of the life that is the ability to walk, self care, the usual activities, pain/uncomfortable and anxiety/depression. Previous research have found that hypertensive individuals tends to have lower quality of life than those without hypertension. This research aimed to determine the relationship between hypertension towards the quality of life of the population in Kolongan Sub-District Tomohon Tengah District, Tomohon. This research used analytical survey method with cross-sectional study, which was conducted in April until June 2017. The population in this research was the adult population aged ≥ 17 years old in Kolongan Sub-District Tomohon Tengah District, Tomohon. Samples were obtained by the multistage random sampling with 96 respondents. Data collection in this research used the EQ-5D questionnaire and blood pressure gauge, tensimeter. The statistical test used was chi square test to analyze the relationship between the variables with α = 0,05. The statistical tests conducted indicated that there was a relationship between hypertension and the quality of life (p = 0,014). There was a relationship between hypertension and the quality of life of the populations in Kolongan Sub-District Tomohon Tengah District, Tomohon.
