HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU DENGAN PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF PADA BAYI BERUSIA 6-12 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MODOINDING

Abstract

ASI merupakan zat gizi yang terbaik untuk bayi. Untuk bayi yang berumur 0-6 bulan sangat dianjurkan untuk mendapatkan ASI Eksklusif. Tingkat kematian pada bayi akan berkurang jika diberikan ASI Eksklusif. ASI dapat juga meningkatkan kecerdasan otak pada bayi karena didalam ASI terkandung nutrient-nutrient. Dari hasil penelitian di Puskesmas Modoinding ternyata pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada bayi yang berusia 6-12 bulan masih sangat kurang karena terbukti dari data yang diperoleh di Puskesmas Modoinding bayi yang mendapatkan ASI Eksklusif hanya 38,1% dari semua bayi yang berusia 0-6 bulan. Tujuannya adalah untuk mencari tahu apakah ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap ibu untuk tindakan pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada bayi. Dalam metode penelitian ini saya menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini saya ambil sebanyak 97 ibu yang menyusui. Cara pengumpulan data yang saya lakukan mmelalui metode wawancara dengan menggunakan kuesioner, sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan tidak terdapat adanya hubungan dari variable-variabel tersebut dan berdasarkan hasil uji chi-square yang saya dapatkan untuk pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif memperoleh hasil (p=0,835) atau (p≥ 0,05) untuk sikap ibu dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif memperoleh hasil (p=1,000) atau (p≥ 0,05). Kesimpulannya hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Puskesmas Modoinding tidak terdapat adanya hubungan, begitu pula dengan hubungan sikap ibu tidak terdapat adanya hubungan.

ABSTRACT

Breast milk is the best nutrient for babies. For babies aged 0-6 months it is recommended to get exclusive breastfeeding. The death rate in infants will be reduced if given exclusive breastfeeding. Breast milk can also increase brain intelligence in infants because it contains nutrients and nutrients. The results of the research at Modoinding Health Center turned out that exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 6-12 months was still very lacking because it was evident from data obtained at Modoinding Health Centers for infants who received exclusive breastfeeding only 38.1% of all infants aged 0-6 months. The aim is to find out whether there is a relationship between mother's knowledge and attitudes to the act of giving exclusive breastfeeding to the baby. In this research method I used quantitative research with analytical surveys with a cross sectional study approach, and I took as many as 97 samples of breastfeeding mothers. The method of data collection I did was through the interview method using a questionnaire, so that the results showed that there was no significant relationship between these variables and based on the results of the chi-square test that I got for the knowledge of mothers with exclusive breastfeeding obtained results (p = 0.835) or (p≥ 0.05) for the attitude of mothers with exclusive breastfeeding to obtain results (p = 1,000) or (p≥ 0.05). The conclusion is that the relationship between the knowledge of mothers and exclusive breastfeeding at Modoinding Puskesmas has no relationship, as well as the relationship between maternal attitudes and no relationship.
