Mangrove ecosystems play a crucial ecological role in maintaining coastal environmental balance, including mitigating climate change, protecting shorelines, and providing habitats for a wide range of flora and fauna. One key aspect of this ecosystem is the community structure of mangroves, which is determined by vegetation density and abundance. These factors influence ecosystem resilience against wave action and storms, carbon storage capacity, sediment stabilization, and biodiversity enhancement. However, many mangrove areas face degradation due to land conversion, pollution, and unsustainable exploitation. This research aims to analyze the relationship between density and abundance in mangrove communities, their ecological functions, and their implications for conservation strategies. The findings are expected to provide scientific insights and recommendations for effective mangrove conservation policies.
