Plagiarismpolicy

The manuscript will be screened for text similarity using Turnitin software prior to peer review, as part of the journal's commitment to originality and scientific integrity in accordance with COPE Core Practice #3 (Allegations of Misconduct).

Screening Stages:
  • At desk evaluation: Before the manuscript is sent to Peer Reviewers.
  • Before final publication: On the final post-revision version, prior to layout/production.
Similarity Threshold:
  • Maximum overall similarity index of 20%.
  • Maximum similarity from a single source of 5%.
  • The calculation excludes properly marked direct quotations and Reference List entries.
Consequences:
  • Returned for revision: The manuscript is returned to the author(s) for revision and resubmission if the excess similarity is technical in nature (imprecise paraphrasing, incomplete citation, and the like).
  • Rejected: The manuscript is rejected without further review if substantial or intentional plagiarism is indicated.
Additional Notes for Authors:
  • Citations from the author's own previously published work (self-plagiarism) are still counted in the similarity index and must be properly referenced.
  • The similarity report is treated as confidential and used solely for internal editorial evaluation.
  • Authors are encouraged to perform their own similarity check prior to submission.
