Penerapan Kode Etik Jurnalistik Dalam Pemberitaan Kasus Korupsi Pemerintah Pada Harian Manado Post

Abstract

Journalism ethics play a very important role in press as a guideline for professional journalism.Journalism ethics thus can be understood and carried out by journalists. The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of ethical journalistic code in reporting corruption case of government on Manado post daily. The focus of the research is the daily newspaper Manado Post edition 21 februari-21 march 2018 news about corruption cases. The technique of data collection is observation, by observing directly without the mediator to see closely the activities of the object. Directly researchers will observe and examine the contents of Manado Post daily newspaper about corruption cases. Data analysis method used is content analysis research. The result of research proves that the implementation of journalistic code of ethics in reporting corruption case of government on Manado Post daily in accordance with code of ethics applied in Indonesia for journalist in order to give news or published information can be accounted for.
