This study analyzes the relationship between energy consumption, urbanization, andmanufacturing sector growth in East Asia, focusing on South Korea, China, Japan, and Mongolia. These countries were selected due to their high industrializationlevels and diverse energy consumption dynamics. The study employs a quantitativeapproach using panel data regression analysis to evaluate correlations among theexamined variables. Model selection was conducted through a series of specificationtests, with results indicating that the Random Effects Model (REM) is the mostappropriate approach. Findings reveal that energy consumption and urbanizationhave a positive and significant impact on manufacturing Gross Domestik Product(GDP) growth. Increased urbanization drives manufacturing sector expansion byboosting labor demand and industrial infrastructure. Higher energy consumptionalso contributes to manufacturing growth, highlighting the sector's reliance onenergy availability. Although the model explains only a portion of manufacturinggrowth variation, the results provide valuable insights for policymakers. This study emphasizes the importance of energy efficiency policies and effective urban planningto support sustainable industrial growth in East Asia.
