EKONOMI INDUSTRI PANGAN DAN KEBIJAKAN PENDUKUNGNYA

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontrubusi industri pangan dalam perekonomian dan kebijakan pendukungnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Kementerian Perdagangan, dan Kementerian Perindustrian. Data diolah dan dianalisis berdasarkan hubungan antar variabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi industri pangan terhadap ekonomi nasional paling tinggi dibandingkan industri lainnya. Produk pangan unggulan seperti minyak nabati (CPO), hasil laut (ikan, udang, ikan olahan) dan perkebunan (kopi, teh, rempah,) memberikan neraca surplus dalam perdagangan. Sementara produk yang potensial seperti gula, ampas makanan, biji-bijian, susu mentega-telur dan daging hewan masih defisit dalam jumlah yang besar. Kebijakan untuk memperkuat industri pangan sudah diterbitkan tetapi masih bersifat sektoral industri, belum banyak melibatkan pemangku kepentingan lain seperti kementerian lain, lembaga litbang, perguruan tinggi, pelaku usaha dan masyarakat
