PENGARUH SUCCESSOR READINESS TERHADAP SUCCESSOR EFFECTIVENESS DENGAN FAMILY HARMONY AND TRUST IN SUCCESSOR SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI PADA BISNIS KELUARGA DI INDONESIA

Abstrak

Proses suksesi berperan penting dalam menentukan kelangsungan operasional bisnis keluarga secara efektif di masa depan. Akan tetapi, bisnis keluarga di Indonesia kerap dihadapkan dengan tantangan yang kompleks terkait suksesi. Seringkali, rendahnya efektivitas suksesor dalam menjalankan perannya menjadi faktor utama yang menyebabkan kegagalan suksesi di bisnis keluarga. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua suksesor dari bisnis keluarga kompeten dan siap untuk menjalankan regenerasi di perusahaan keluarga secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh successor readiness terhadap successor effectiveness dalam konteks bisnis keluarga, dengan mempertimbangkan peran moderasi dari variabel family harmony and trust in successor. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif yang mana data dikumpulkan dari 198 penerus bisnis keluarga melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 25 dengan teknik Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Temuan dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa successor readiness berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap successor effectiveness. Namun, variabel family harmony and trust in successor tidak mampu memoderasi hubungan antara successor readiness dan successor effectiveness.
