Current Issue
This edition of Jurnal Kedokteran Komunitas dan Tropik (JKKT) presents a comprehensive series of studies examining public health challenges within the context of tropical regions and primary care settings. The scope of this volume encompasses prevention strategies for infectious diseases such as dengue fever, the dynamics of adolescent reproductive health, adherence levels in chronic disease therapy, and patterns in antibiotic prescribing practices. By integrating field research with behavioural analysis, the selected articles provide profound insights into health determinants, program implementation barriers, and the potential for community-based interventions.
With an emphasis on policy implications and clinical practice, this issue provides empirical evidence relevant to policymakers, primary healthcare practitioners, and researchers. The primary focus is directed toward strengthening prevention, education, and disease management tailored to the specific characteristics of tropical environments. The findings presented serve as applicable references and offer strategic recommendations to bolster public health responses at both local and regional levels.
