Jurnal Bios Logos (JBL) is committed to preserving the scholarly articles it publishes to ensure their long-term availability and accessibility. To achieve this, JBL employs multiple archiving services, including PKP PN Archiving Service and Portico, while also adhering to the principles of the Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe (LOCKSS) initiative under official agreements and the use of free plugins.

PKP PN Archiving Service

JBL participates in the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) Preservation Network (PN) Archiving Service to ensure the preservation of its published articles. This archiving service allows JBL to safely store and maintain digital copies of its articles in a secure and decentralized network, ensuring their availability for future generations of readers and researchers.

LOCKSS Concept

JBL adopts the principles of the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) initiative, which is based on the concept of preserving content through distributed archiving.
