Abstract : This study aims to determine and test the effect of knowledge donation and work experience on employee performance through innovation behavior as a mediating variable. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The sample used uses the Slovin formula, which is 135 respondents. Data were obtained by data collection techniques using questionnaires. The analysis method for testing the hypothesis in this study is Smart Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS 4.0). The test results show that Knowledge Donating and Work Experience have a significant effect on Employee Performance at the Central Halmahera Secretariat, Knowledge Donating and Work Experience have a significant effect on Innovation Behavior at the Central Halmahera Secretariat Innovation Behavior has a significant effect on Employee Performance at the Central Halmahera Secretariat, Innovation Behavior mediates the relationship between Knowledge Donation and Work Experience on Employee Performance at the Central Halmahera Secretariat.
