PENGARUH BEBAN KERJA DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP TURNOVER INTENTION DENGAN STRES KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING (STUDI KASUS KARYAWAN PT. CIPUTRA INTERNASIONAL MANADO)

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload and work environment on turnover intention with work stress as a mediating variable among employees of PT. Ciputra Internasional Manado. The background of this research is based on the high level of turnover intention in the company, which presents a serious challenge in human resource management, particularly in the property industry. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, in which data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 41 employees. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that workload has a positive and significant effect on both work stress and turnover intention. The work environment significantly affects work stress and also has a direct effect on turnover intention. Work stress is proven to have a significant effect on turnover intention and mediates the relationship between workload, work environment, and turnover intention. These findings highlight the importance of managing workloads proportionally, creating a supportive work environment, and effectively addressing work stress to reduce turnover intention and enhance employee retention.
