Coral Recruitment Study on Star Shape Artificial Reef in Fukui Dive Point Bunaken Island North Sulawesi

Fukui dive point is one of the favorite diving places for foreign and domestic tourists, located in the western part of Bunaken Island, and has a good coral reef configuration. With steep reef topography, wall type, and clear waters, this area also has an attractive, exotic biota. This research was conducted on the Coral reef of Fukui dive point, Bunaken Island, and aims 1 to find out the types and sizes of corals living in the Artificial reef dive point Fukui. 2) to find other animals living in the Artificial Reef Dive Point Fukui. The visual survey method is used to obtain data on the type and size of the live coral attached to the star-shaped artificial reef. Secondary data was obtained through literature studies.

Abstrak
Fukui dive point merupakan salah satu tempat penyelaman favorit wisatawan asing maupun domestik yang terletak dibagian barat Pulau Bunaken dan memiliki konfigurasi terumbu karang yang baik. Dengan topografi terumbu yang curam dan bertipe dinding/wall, serta perairan yang jernih menyebabkan daerah ini juga memiliki biota-biota eksotik yang menarik. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di daerah terumbu karang Fukui dive point Pulau Bunaken dan bertujuan 1) Untuk mengetahui jenis dan ukuran karang yang hidup di artificial reef Dive Point Fukui. 2) Untuk mengetahui hewan-hewan lainnya yang hidup berasosiasi di artificial reef Dive Point Fukui. Metode survei visual digunakan untuk mendapatkan data mengenai jenis dan ukuran karang yang hidup menempel pada terumbu buatan (artificial reef) berbentuk bintang tersebut. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui kajian literatur.
