Arrow fishing gear is one of the fishing technologies that has been used for a long time to catch coral fish in shallow waters. Fishing activities using arrows as an effort to improve the economy of the household of fishermen, as well as showing the socio -economic potential of the spearfishing fisheries in these waters. This study aims to present data and information about the composition of fish using arrow fishing gear in Tagalaya waters, North Halmahera Regency. The study was conducted by the sampling method of 30 people of the total population of 50 fishermen using purposive sampling techniques by choosing experienced fishermen in their fields. The results showed that the number of fishermen users of fishing gear in Tagalaya Village was dominated by fishermen using arrow fishing gear or local terms namely "Bajubi". Based on observations and interview results, the construction of the arrow fishing gear used is very simple, consisting of wood, arrows, loss pipes, loss rubber, snaps, arrows hooks. The composition of fish catches using arrow fishing gear in Tagalaya Village gets 330 tails consisting of 13 types. The catch is dominated by baronang fish with a percentage of 45% of the type of Siganus canaliculatus and the lowest percentage of 1% is the tiger grouper from the type of Epinephelus fuscogutattus.
