Sam Ratulangi Politics Review (SRPolRev) is committed to open access principles and the protection of authors' intellectual property rights in academic publishing.

Author Copyright Retention & Open Access License
Authors publishing with SRPolRev retain full copyright of their work without restrictions. Articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

1. Copyright Terms

Ownership & Rights Retention:
Authors hold the copyright to their articles and grant the journal the right of first publication under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
Unrestricted Publishing Rights:
Authors retain publishing rights without restrictions and are free to enter into separate, non-exclusive distribution agreements for the published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book).
Self-Archiving Policy:
Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories, ResearchGate, or personal websites) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges and earlier citation.

2. Creative Commons License (CC BY-SA 4.0)

Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, readers and researchers are free to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
  • Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
  • ShareAlike: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

3. Author Warranties

By submitting a manuscript to SRPolRev, the author(s) warrant that the article is original, has not been published previously, does not infringe upon any existing third-party copyright, and contains no unlawful or unethical statements.
