Revenue Sources & Advertising

Sam Ratulangi Politics Review (SRPolRev) is committed to transparency regarding its financial sustainability, operating model, and funding sources in accordance with scholarly publishing guidelines.

Institutional Sponsorship Model
SRPolRev is a non-profit, Diamond Open Access journal fully funded and institutionalized by the Study Program of Politics, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Sam Ratulangi University, Manado, Indonesia.

1. Primary Funding Mechanisms

Institutional Allocation:
All operational expenses—including server maintenance, OJS hosting, technical infrastructure, digital preservation, DOI assignment (Crossref), and editorial administration—are covered by the annual budget of FISIP, Sam Ratulangi University.
Zero Author & Reader Charges:
SRPolRev does not generate revenue from author submission fees, Article Processing Charges (APCs), page charges, color figure fees, or reader subscriptions.
Voluntary Academic Contributions:
Editorial board members and peer reviewers contribute their expert services on a voluntary academic basis, supporting the advancement of political science research.

2. Independence of Editorial Decisions

Financial backing from Sam Ratulangi University does not grant any influence over editorial decisions or manuscript acceptance. All editorial judgments are based solely on peer review reports and scientific merit.
