Sam Ratulangi Politics Review (SRPolRev) is committed to protecting the personal data and privacy of all registered users, authors, reviewers, and editors in accordance with scholarly publishing standards.

Protection of Personal Data
The names, email addresses, and personal information entered into this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of SRPolRev and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any third party.

1. Information We Collect

To facilitate manuscript submission, peer review, and journal operations, SRPolRev collects the following data:

  • Profile Details: Full name, institutional affiliation, email address, country, ORCID iD, and academic background.
  • Editorial Information: Submitted manuscripts, peer review reports, editorial decisions, and revision logs.
  • System Logs: IP address and access timestamps recorded automatically for server security and system performance monitoring.

2. How Your Information Is Used

Editorial Communication
To notify authors, reviewers, and editors regarding submission status, peer review invitations, and editorial decisions.
Article Metadata & Indexing
Published author details (name, affiliation, ORCID iD) are embedded into metadata for Crossref DOI assignment and scholarly indexing (Google Scholar, Sinta, DOAJ).
Platform Security & Integrity
To prevent fraudulent accounts, maintain user authentication, and ensure compliance with publication ethics.

3. User Rights & Access Control

  • Users may view, edit, or update their profile information at any time by logging into their journal account.
  • Users can request profile deactivation. Note that author details on already published papers remain part of the permanent academic record.
  • Users can control notification and email preferences inside their profile settings.
