1. Journal Ownership and Publisher

ZOOTEC Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published and managed by the Faculty of Animal Sciences, Sam Ratulangi University, Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The journal has been published since 1995 and serves as an academic platform for disseminating research findings and scientific developments in animal sciences, livestock production, animal nutrition, livestock socio-economics, animal product technology, animal health, and related disciplines.

ZOOTEC operates under the institutional responsibility of the Faculty of Animal Sciences, Sam Ratulangi University, in accordance with applicable university regulations and scholarly publishing standards.

2. Management and Editorial Governance

ZOOTEC is managed by an editorial team consisting of the Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board, Managing Editor, and supporting editorial personnel.

The Editor-in-Chief, supported by the Editorial Board and editorial management team, is responsible for overseeing journal operations, manuscript evaluation, peer-review coordination, editorial decisions, and implementation of publication ethics and editorial policies.

The journal uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) to manage manuscript submissions, peer review, editorial processes, and online publication.

The composition and institutional affiliations of the editorial team are publicly presented on the journal's official website.

3. Editorial Independence

ZOOTEC maintains editorial independence from institutional, financial, political, and commercial interests.

All manuscripts are evaluated based on scientific merit, originality, methodological quality, relevance to the journal's aims and scope, peer-review recommendations, and compliance with publication ethics.
