The brown plant hopper (Nilaparvata lugens. Stål.) is a pest of crops, especially rice crops worldwide and has been a problem for a long time. One of the reasons for the explosion of N. lugens was that it had developed resistance as a result of the inability of pesticides to suppress the growth of these insect pests. Utilization of the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana is one of the efforts to reduce the use of synthetic pesticides. This study aimed to measure the susceptibility status of the brown planthopper (N. lugens) to the fungus B. bassiana isolated from several host insects. This study used a completely randomized design, with two treatments, namely the type of host and the concentration of conidia. The results showed that the highest mortality of N. lugens was in the treatment of L. oratorius isolates with concentrations of 109 and 108, namely 40% and 39.3%, and the lowest was in the isolates of Jati sari with concentrations of 106, which was 22.7%. N. lugens was more susceptible to the fungus B. bassiana L. oratorius isolate with an RR value of 0.63 compared to P. pallicornis isolates which had an RR value of 0.93.

ABSTRAK
Serangga wereng coklat (Nilaparvata lugens. Stål.) merupakan hama pada tanaman, terutama pada tanaman padi di seluruh dunia dan telah menjadi masalah sejak lama. Ledakan N. lugens salah satunya karena telah mengalami resistensi sebagai akibat dari ketidakmampuan pestisida dalam menekan pertumbuhan dari serangga hama tersebut. Pemanfaatan jamur entomopatogen Beauveria bassiana menjadi salah satu upaya mengurangi penggunaan pestisida sintetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur status kerentanan wereng batang coklat (N. lugens) terhadap jamur B. bassiana yang diisolasi dari beberapa serangga inang. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap, dengan dua perlakuan yaitu jenis inang dan konsentrasi konidia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mortalitas N. lugens tertinggi yaitu pada perlakuan isolat L. oratorius konsentrasi 109 dan 108 yaitu 40% dan 39,3% dan terendah pada isolat Jati sari konsentras 106 yaitu 22,7%. Hama N. lugens lebih rentan terhadap jamur B. bassiana isolat L. oratorius dengan nilai RR 0,63 dibandingan isolat P. pallicornis yang memiliki nilai RR 0,93.
