Eksekutif: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan respects the privacy of authors, reviewers, editors, readers, and other users of the journal website. This Privacy Statement explains what personal data may be collected through the journal's Open Journal Systems platform, why the data is processed, how the data is used and protected, and the choices available to users.

Personal data is processed only for legitimate scholarly publishing, editorial administration, communication, website operation, security, research dissemination, indexing, archiving, and related legal or institutional purposes. The journal does not sell, rent, or trade personal data for commercial marketing.

Name, username, encrypted password, email address, affiliation, country, ORCID identifier, website, mailing address, telephone number, biography, preferred language, reviewing interests, roles, registration date, and last login information, depending on the fields used by the platform.
Submission and contributor data. Author and contributor names, affiliations, countries, email addresses, ORCID identifiers, manuscript files, metadata, declarations, supplementary files, funding information, conflicts of interest, and correspondence related to a submission.
Editorial and peer-review data. Editorial assignments, review invitations, reviewer responses, review reports, decisions, revision records, copyediting and production records, internal notes, and related communications.
Communications. Messages sent through OJS or email concerning registration, submissions, reviews, editorial decisions, publication, technical support, announcements, and other journal activities.
Technical and usage data. IP address, browser and device information, cookies, session information, access time, referring pages, error and security logs, article views, downloads, and other usage data generated when the website is accessed.
2. Purposes of Processing
  • Creating and administering user accounts and journal roles.
  • Receiving, screening, reviewing, editing, producing, publishing, correcting, and preserving scholarly submissions.
  • Communicating with authors, reviewers, editors, readers, and technical users.
  • Managing conflicts of interest, publication ethics, complaints, appeals, corrections, and retractions.

4. Data Access and Disclosure

Reviewers receive only the information required to complete the review and are required to preserve confidentiality.

Data or metadata may be disclosed to legitimate scholarly and technical services, such as DOI registration agencies, indexing and abstracting databases, plagiarism-detection services, preservation networks, email and hosting providers, analytics services, research-integrity bodies, or competent authorities, when required for journal operations, legal compliance, or protection of the scholarly record. Such disclosure should be limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose.

5. Cookies, Logs, and Usage Statistics

The website may use essential cookies and session technologies to support login, security, language preferences, navigation, and other platform functions. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the website from functioning correctly.

Requests for deletion may therefore be balanced against obligations concerning authorship attribution, publication ethics, research integrity, archiving, and the reliability of the academic record.
