Abstract

Tourism management is an effort made by the public and the government in preserving tourist attractions. It is related to tourism management with a number of management principles that basically emphasize the values of the community's natural environment sustainability and social values that allow tourists to enjoy their tourism activities beneficial to the welfare of the local community. One of the management efforts in the tourism environment is to implement Green Tourism. Green tourism is a form of ecotourism development used in sustainable tourism practices that ensures sufficient environmental, economic, social and cultural needs. The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of the implementation of Green Tourism and its form of management in tourism in Palaes Village, West Likupang District, North Minahasa Regency. The
research method used is a qualitative approach to data collection, namely observation, interview and documentation, and then a data analysis is conducted to structure, process, interpret and provide systematic and meaningful conclusions. The results of this study The management and development of tourism in Desa Palaes refer to the components of green tourism, namely to maintain conservation, improve the natural and physical quality of the environment to ensure the health and sustainability of the ecosystem, strengthening the local economy, and improving the environment. respecting and appreciating cultural diversity and increasing participation and involvement with nature, society, place and local culture.
